Enable : she won with authority at Kempton for her return and will be ready for Sunday, October 7th
Cracksman : winner of the Coronation Cup on June 1st at Epsom, then he got defeated of several length by Poet’s Word in the Prince of Wales’ Stakes at Ascot, on June 20th, Now, the colt will get back at his best and be ready to run at the #QPAT*.
Sea of Class : this 3yo filly won the Irish Oaks (2400m) at Curragh on July 21st ,in front of Forever Together, and then won the Yorkshire Oaks, beating Coronet & Laurens. This Sea The Stars’ daughter isn’t registered for the Arc but might be supplemented.
Lah Ti Dar : winner of a listed race in New York with more than 10 lenghts ahead, this Dubawi’s daughter could only be beaten by Kew Gardens at the St Leger Stakes in Doncaster. She has been nominated for the QPAT and the Prix de Royallieu.
Kitesurf : She brilliantly won the Qatar Prix Vermeille. She has been nominated for the QPAT, the Prix de l’Opéra and the Prix de Royallieu.
Cloth of Stars : 3rd of the Qatar Prix Foy, he should be fully ready for the Arc.
Poet’s Word : he’s injured and won’t run until next year.
Stradivarius : highly regular on long distances (2800m to 4000m), he recently won the Lonsdale Cup (Gr.II – 3250m) in York. He has been nominated for the QPAT this year.
Waldgeist : he won (thanks to one nose) the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, beating Coronet & Salouen. He just won with authority the Qatar Prix Foy and is logically heading to the Arc.
Capri : totally lost in the 2017 Prix de l’Arc, this Galileo’s son should try again this year.
Hunting Horn : he finished 2nd at the Prix Niel at ParisLongchamp and has been nominated for the QPAT.
Loxley : he easily won the Grand Prix de Deauville but just has been a disappointment in Doncaster. However he truly seems perfectible. He has been nominated for the QPAT.
Clincher : He’s the only Japanese horse at the #QPAT this year. Even if he finished last at the Prix Foy, he will definitively have a lot of supporters.
Neufbosc : He won the Prix du Lys (Gr.III – 2400m) in ParisLongchamp and then confirmed when he finished 2nd of the Grand Prix de Paris. 3rd of the Qatar Prix Niel in a race with no speed, he has some chances for the #QPAT. He will be the 1st runner for his trainer Pia Brandt.
Kew Gardens : He won the Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris (Gr.I – 2400m) then ended 3rd of the Great Voltigeur Stakes in York on August 22nd. He recently won a Group race of 2900m in Doncaster (ahead of Lah Ti Dar). He has been nominated for the #QPAT.
Rostropovich : 2nd in the Irish Derby, ahead of Saxon Warrior, The Pentagon & Dee Ex Bee, but finished only 5th of the ‘English Arc’ in Ascot. He just won a Gr III in Leopardstown. He has been nominated for the #QPAT.
Roaring Lion : 3rd of the Epsom Derby, he then won the Eclipse Stakes in Sandown Park ahead of Saxon Warrior. He also won the Juddmonte International Stakes in York on Aug 22nd ahead of Poet’s Word & Saxon Warrior. And he just won the Irish Champion Stakes.
Wild Illusion : 2nd of the Epsom Oaks behind Forever Together, she won the the Nassau Stakes in Goodwood. She has been nominated for the #QPAT
Forever Together : She won the Epsom Oaks of more than 4 lengths ahead Wild Illusion. After she finished 2nd of the Pretty Polly Stakes and 2nd of the Irish Oaks. A real 2400m filly! She should be supplemented to run the Arc.
Salouen : 2nd of the Coronation cup in Epsom, 3rd of the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud and 4th of the ‘English Arc’, this Canford Cliffs’ son also got a 3rd place in the Grand Prix de Deauville, this summer. He has been nominated for the #QPAT.
Happily : 4th of the Prix de Diane Longines, she could only finish 5th of the Eclipse Stakes when facing males. She has been nominated for the #QPAT and the Prix de l’Opéra.
Talismanic : He took up with victory again in the Prix Gontaut-Biron in Deauville on Aug 15th before a nice 2nd place in the Qatar Prix Foy.
Nocturnal Fox : he won the Prix Hocquart in Chantilly on June 17th but hasn’t been seen since. He has been nominated for the #QPAT
Defoe : 3rd of the Tattersalls Gold Cup (Group I – 2100m) in Curragh, on May 27th. He then finished 2nd of the Grosser Preis Von Baden. He has been nominated for the #QPAT
Crystal Ocean : 2nd of the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes behind Poet’s Word. He finished 3 lenghts behind Enable in Kempton.
Zarkamiya : She won the Prix de Thiberville, a 2400m Listed races and then finished 3rd of the Prix Minerve in Deauville. Her 3rd place in the Qatar Prix Vermeille has opened the gates to the Arc.
Dschingis Secret : He won the Grand Prix de Hambourg (2400m) in Germany but only ended 4th of the Grosser Preis Von Berlin and then finished last of the Grosser Preis Von Baden.
